These terms cover a company website, not a product. piiklabs.com presents Piik Labs AB and what we build. There is nothing on it to buy, no account to create, and no service delivered through it. Each Piik Labs product has its own terms, which you accept on that product's own website or in the app itself.
The website at piiklabs.com (the “Website”) is operated by Piik Labs AB, a company registered in Sweden with organisation number 559577-8506 (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
1.1Scope — what these terms cover
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Website, including the pages describing the Company, the portfolio of products, and the contact details published on it.
They do not govern any Piik Labs product. BDYCTRL, Quots and Buzzmark are each operated under their own terms, published on their own websites and accepted separately.

2. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing the Website you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Website.
The Website is provided free of charge and asks nothing of you: no account, no registration, no payment. Reading it is the whole of your use.
3. What the Website Is
The Website is our company website. It says who we are, shows the products we have built and are building, and gives you a way to reach us.
Nothing on it can be purchased, subscribed to, or signed up for. Following a link from the portfolio takes you to a separate website operated under its own terms, and what you do there is governed by those terms rather than these.
4. Product and Portfolio Information
The Website describes products at different stages of development. Some are live, some are not yet open, and the labels on the Website say which is which.
Everything the Website says about a product, including what it does, when it will be available, who it is for, and what it will cost, is a statement of our current intention. None of it is an offer, a commitment, or a warranty. Any of it may change, and a product described on the Website may never be released.
The product interfaces shown on the Website are representations of our own products, rebuilt for the Website. They illustrate the design and are not a guarantee of the features, content or behaviour of any released version.
Nothing on the Website is legal, financial, tax, medical, or procurement advice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers, or any system or network connected to it;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Website, or breach any security or authentication measure, except under a coordinated disclosure arrangement agreed with us in advance;
- Interfere with the Website's normal operation, including by overloading it or by any denial-of-service activity;
- Use any automated means to scrape, copy, or harvest content from the Website beyond ordinary search-engine indexing;
- Use the contact address published on the Website to send us unsolicited commercial communications in bulk;
- Use the Website for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law.
We may restrict or block access to the Website where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.
Security reports are welcome. If you find a vulnerability, tell us at hello@piiklabs.com rather than exploiting or publishing it, and we will not treat a good-faith report as a breach of these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1What we own
The Website and its contents are owned by Piik Labs AB or used under licence, and are protected by copyright, trade mark, design right and other intellectual property laws. This includes the text, layout, design, graphics, animations, code, and the product representations shown in the portfolio.
6.2Names and marks
The name Piik Labs, the Piik Labs logo and wordmark, and the product names and marks shown on the Website, including BDYCTRL, Quots and Buzzmark, are trade marks of Piik Labs AB, whether registered or unregistered.
Nothing on the Website grants you any licence or right to use any of them. You may not use our names, logos or marks in your own branding, product, domain name or advertising, or in any way that suggests an association with or endorsement by us, without our prior written permission.
6.3What you may do
You may view the Website and print or download extracts for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You may quote from it, briefly and with attribution, for the purposes of news reporting, review, or comment.
You may not otherwise reproduce, republish, redistribute, adapt, or commercially exploit any part of the Website, and you may not use it, or any part of it, to train a machine learning model, without our prior written permission.
6.4Third-party marks
Third-party names and logos appearing on the Website, including those of social media platforms, are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement, affiliation, or partnership.
6.5Feedback
If you send us an idea or suggestion about the Company or one of our products, we may use it without restriction and without owing you anything. You are not obliged to send us any.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
The Website links to other websites we do not control, including social media platforms. It also links to our own product websites, which are operated under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of any third-party site. Following such a link is at your own risk, and the third party's own terms and privacy policy will apply.
8. Availability and Disclaimers
We aim to keep the Website available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We may suspend, withdraw, or change all or part of the Website without notice, and we are under no obligation to keep the information on it up to date.
Information on the Website is provided for general information only.
Nothing in this section or in section 9 limits your rights as a consumer. Where you are a consumer, mandatory rights under Swedish law and the law of your country of residence apply regardless of what these terms say, and the disclaimers here apply only to the extent the law permits.
9. Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law, including mandatory consumer protection law.
Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, or anticipated savings, arising from your use of or inability to use the Website, or from reliance on anything it says about a product.
The Website is provided free of charge. Where you are not a consumer, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Website and these terms is limited to SEK 5,000.
We do not require an indemnity from consumers. Where you use the Website in the course of a business, you agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of section 5 or section 6.
10. Privacy
How we handle personal data collected through the Website is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms by reference. The Website has no forms and sets no cookies.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms of Use. The version in force is the one published on this page, identified by the version number and date at the top. Changes are not retroactive and do not affect anything that happened before they took effect.
Because the Website has no accounts and no mailing list, we have no way to notify you of a change directly. Continued use of the Website after a revised version is published constitutes acceptance of it, to the extent permitted by law.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms of Use are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Swedish courts.
Consumer carve-out. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint between us, you may refer the matter to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. We will engage with ARN proceedings and give serious consideration to its recommendations. If you live in another EEA country, the European Consumer Centre in Sweden (ECC Sverige) can advise you on cross-border complaints, konsumenteuropa.se.
13. General
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us in relation to the Website.
